Library Stuff and Services: Access Physical Stuff

This guide is for COD students, faculty and staff.  To see what library collections and services District Residents can access, see our DIstrict Residents page.


While the library remains closed, our print books and DVDs are accessible to you via Grab and Go.  You'll start by requesting a book in the catalog, and then schedule a pickup window once you get an email telling you the item is ready.

Return Items: You can find out where and when you can return books, DVDs, and other items on this page. 


Course specific materials: Some course materials are now available for pick-up at the Library Grab & Go. If notified by your instructor that class items are ready, arrange a pick-up time on the Appointment Calendar.

Media Lab technology: You can check out cameras, audio recorders, and more from our Media Lab.  Look at the linked page for an example of what you can get access to, and how to check it out.  

Faculty equipment and requests must be initiated with department deans. Email with questions.

Laptops and hotspots - available for semester loan Laptop and Hotspot Request Form.

Return Technology: Technology can be returned at our Grab & Go Table without an appointment.   

Course Reserve Items

These are searchable in the catalog, and you can request that we digitize a chapter of a reserves book for you.
