Mango Languages is an online language-learning website and mobile app that offers language courses. Mango's language-learning methodology is called Intuitive Language Construction™, which builds the six critical skills necessary for true language learning: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, culture, comprehension, and retention.

Mango's adaptive learning process evolves to the user's progress and unique learning behaviors, preparing them to start the conversation with confidence. Mango adapts to the user's unique learning style, so they can pick up on new vocabulary, intuit unfamiliar grammatical structures, and train their pronunciation.

Mango offers over 70 world language courses, English lessons in 21 languages, and specialty courses to teach cultural differences.

Mango's features include interactive lessons, spaced repetition, reinforcement exercises, color-coded translations, and video content.

Student Ambassador Program

Become a Mango Student Ambassador! This partnership increases language and culture awareness campus-wide. 

What you get as a Student Ambassador:

  • Gear: Official Mango swag and materials to attract followers and jumpstart your promotions.
  • Leadership experience: Looks great on resumes.
  • Relationships: Meet new people, plus earn recommendations and endorsements.
  • Language skills: Campus-wide language and culture hype.
  • Flexibility: Requires only 10 to 15 hours a semester.

Ambassadors will:

  • Discover the value of other cultures and languages.
  • Encourage language and cultural curiosity among students.
  • Get creative leveraging campus events, preparing and providing presentations, distributing promotional materials, and working with multiple campus departments.
  • Documenting activities throughout the program with regular reports.
  • Earn Letters of Recommendation and LinkedIn endorsements for exemplary performance boosting campus activity and resource usage!

Logging In

New Users

  1. Go to the Library Databases page and select Mango Languages.
  2. Click "Sign Up" and enter your COD email address and a unique password.
  3. Start browsing the language options and setup your profile page.

Guest Users

  • District residents are welcome to use Mango on campus as a guest or create an account to access the many free language courses from home.
