How Do I...

Summer is great for reading. Check out some favorite books.

Beg, Borrow, or Steal

Two feuding second-grade teachers (and neighbors) find themselves teaming up in this rivals-to-lovers romance set in Rome, Kentucky. Emily Walker writes romance novels, and Jack Bennett writes mysteries, and they really don't like each other. With their chemistry-fueled animosity at an all-time high, Emily must turn to Jack for help. Surprisingly, he agrees. Will their unlikely alliance put an end to their rivalry? Or could it lead to a steamy plot twist they never saw coming?

Blob

A humorous debut novel about a young woman who tries to shape a sentient blob into her perfect boyfriend. Vi Liu has never quite fit into her Midwestern town. After being dumped by her boyfriend, she takes a job at a hotel. Her life changes when she goes out one night with a co-worker. In an alley, Vi discovers a blob--a small living creature with black eyes - and she takes it home. The blob responds to her commands, and she soon thinks she can turn it into the ideal mate, but can she really?

The Blue Hour

Welcome to Eris: an island with only one house, one inhabitant, one way out. Unreachable from the Scottish mainland for twelve hours each day, this place was once home to Vanessa, a famous artist whose unfaithful husband disappeared twenty years ago. Now home to Grace: A solitary creature of the tides, content in her own isolation. But when a shocking discovery is made in an art gallery far away in London, a visitor comes calling. And the secrets of Eris threaten to emerge.

Here's to Us

Laurel Thorpe, Belinda Rowe, and Scarlett Oliver share only two things; a love for the man they all married, Deacon Thorpe and a passionate dislike of one another. All three are remarkable, spirited women, but they couldn't be more different. They have an understanding -- they avoid each other at all costs. But their detente threatens to come crashing down after Deacon's tragic death on his favorite place on earth: a Nantucket summer cottage.
