Visiting the Library: Home

The Library building has reopened and is offering comfortable and convenient space for study and computing as well as full access to our physical collections and the Library Media Lab. This is in addition to access to our comprehensive virtual services and online collections which remain unchanged.

On Campus Hours and Services

Spring semester hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 8 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Saturday: 9 am - 4:30 pm
  • Sunday: 12 noon - 6 pm

What to Expect When You Come to the Library

Building Access and Safety

  • You may enter campus from any exterior door and enter the Library from any of our three entrances.
  • All individuals (vaccinated and unvaccinated) are required to wear a facemask covering their mouth and nose and maintain social distancing while inside campus buildings.
  • Service desks have plexiglass shields for the safety of you and our staff.
  • Hand sanitizer and wipes are available for you to keep yourself and your workspace sanitized.

Picking Up Requested Materials

  • Once you receive an email notifying you that your requested books, media, or equipment are ready, come to the lower level Circulation Desk during any of our open hours to pick up your items. No appointment is needed.
  • Students requesting laptops and hotspots should request them in advance using our Student Laptop & Hotspot request form request form.

Study and Computing


  • In-person reference and research assistance.
  • In-person check out and returns.
  • Reserves Collection textbooks, models, calculators, etc. for in-library use.
  • Black/white and color printing and copying.
  • Flatbed and open book scanning.
  • Fine payment for lost materials and equipment.
  • Digital media creation equipment, software, and support in the Media Lab.

NOTE: You can also contact us online or by phone with research questions or to make an appointment to meet via phone or video conference. Library staff are ready to assist you with all of your research needs, including selecting, accessing, and using databases, books, and articles.
