Anti-Racist Pedagogy Toolkit: Part 2 - Taking Action

Take Action as an Educator

In its vision for an anti-racist future, the Center for Anti-Racist Education (CARE) outlines its principles through five characteristics of antiracist educators.

Anti-racist educators:

  • Affirm the dignity and humanity of all people.
  • Embrace historical truths.
  • Develop a critical consciousness.
  • Recognize race and confront racism.
  • Create just systems.

In this section of the Anti-Racist Pedagogy Toolkit, you'll find resources to guide you in taking action to create anti-racist curriculum, classrooms, and colleges.
