Academic Search Ultimate
Academic Search Ultimate contains a wide variety of anatomy and physiology magazines, trade publications, and scholarly articles.
Science Direct
Science Direct is a database of scientific scholarly research. Find full-text articles about kinesiology, medicine, and more.

PubMed
PubMed is a free government database that indexes research literature focused on medical information. It's a massive database, so you'll want to search in a focused way. Not all articles will be in full text.

Requesting Articles

Finding a citation for an article you'd like, but no full-text (or you're being asked to pay for the article?) Follow the steps below to see how to best access the article:

Start by searching Journal Locator by the journal name.
If the results give you a database name, great! Click on the link and search by article title.
If there are no relevant results, head to the Article InterLibrary Loan form. (Find more info about Interlibrary Loan.)
Fill out the Article form. In about 5 business days, you should get an electronic copy of the article in your email.

Make steps 1 and 2 seamless by adding the LibKey Nomad to your favorite browser. LibKey Nomad will search our databases to see if or where the COD Library might be able to provide an article in full-text and then bring you to it. Find out more about LibKey Nomad.
