Big Reputation

In this workshop, students will be asked to explore various rumors regarding Taylor Swift. Statements of supposed fact will be further examined using a plethora of resources (search engines, databases, newspapers, interviews, court documents, etc.) to ascertain their veracity. Students will learn how to navigate the library's resources, conduct better internet searching, evaluate sources, distinguish between primary, secondary, and tertiary sources, and better analyze the results of their sleuthing. We will start with a rumor, take it apart piece by piece and see what truth remains.
