Library Student Research and Award Symposium

The College of DuPage Library is pleased to announce our second annual Student Library Research and Award Symposium, to take place May 8, 2020, in SRC 2000, 9:00 am - 1:00pm. This event will highlight COD student research, such as papers, presentations, posters, objects, and theatrical and musical performances. The day will include student presentations and a keynote address. Lunch will be provided for all presenters and faculty sponsors. See our short video for a brief overview of the symposium.

Research Award:

The Research Award provides students with the opportunity to win cash awards by submitting a 2-3 page essay describing their research process and submit the essay as part of the submission form. Submissions will be judged solely on the quality and content of the research essay. Submissions are evaluated and awards designated by library faculty. For more information, please see the award rubric.

Cash awards include:

First Place: $500.00.

Second place: $250.00

Third place: $100.00

Honorable Mention: 3 awards of $50.00 each

Submission process:
