College of DuPage Librarian Lauren Kosrow is leading the charge in open educational resources (OER), saving students over $7 million in textbook costs. Through grants and faculty partnerships, COD is creating free, adaptable learning materials, including a new math textbook complete with interactive online homework. OER materials not only reduce costs for students, but empower faculty to customize resources for better student outcomes.
