From the Modern Language Association (MLA) and EBSCO, this resource combines an extensive collection of full-text journals with the definitive index for the study and teaching of language, literature, linguistics, rhetoric, writing studies, folklore, film, theater, and other dramatic arts.
Literature Criticism contains the full-text of these important reference works: Contemporary Literary Criticism, Drama Criticism, and Short Story Criticism. Literature Criticism also gives users access to the Literary Index.
Literature Resource Center contains analysis, biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism, and reviews on writers in all disciplines, from all time periods, and from around the world.
JSTOR provides electronic access to major journal titles, eBooks, and images. Subjects covered by this database include art, biology, business, ecology, botany, general science, language, literature, mathematics, sustainability, security, music, and more. JSTOR is a great resource for general research. A personal account can be created to store and organize resources.
The Salem Press database is divided into five categories: Literature, History, Science, Health & Psychology, and Careers & Business. Researchers can keyword search the whole platform, the individual categories, or just search a specific title. The main page of the database lists each category as well as all eBook titles found within the categories.

Academic Search Complete is a great starting point for most general research.
Artemis is a portal to the content contained in both Literature Online and Literature Resource Center. From Artemis, you can access literary and drama criticism, reviews, topic overviews, author biographies, and much more.
NoveList Plus is an electronic readers' advisory resource which allows you to search for fiction and non-fiction titles written for readers of all ages. Users can search for books based on subject, genre, and different “appeal” factors. This resource is often used by public libraries and students in the LTA program but can also be used by anyone looking for a next read.
Google Scholar is always a viable option, we may not always get the full-text of the source we are reviewing from Google Scholar. It may send us back to the paywall.
