GoPro Hero9

HERO9 Black sports a 23.6MP sensor for 5K video and 20MP photos. The camera also has a front display, a rear touch screen with zoom, and Hypersmooth 3.0 image stabilization.

Checkout includes attachable handle for more stable shooting. In the top pocket, SD card, transfer cable, two batteries.

Assembling the GoPro

Battery Drawer

Open the side panel of the GoPro. The latch will be black when it is locked and orange when it is unlocked. The top flips open and up. Once unlocked, you can remove and change the battery.

Load the SD card into the slot if it is not loaded already.

Load a battery into the slot. Line up the gold pieces in the far end with the prongs on the battery.

Attach the charging cable to a computer to charge the battery before use.

Attaching Parts

To attach a mount, ready the Hero base. Flip the Hero over to see the threads are flattened. Pull out each of the indented parts to create the “thread”. Unscrew the screw from the mount and thread the GoPro with the attachment. Place the screw back through the threads and tighten.

Mounting Tabs

Using the tripod mount or other attachments from the attachments kit, you will need to flip up the silicone guard in order to get the buckle to snap in.

Using the GoPro

Power

To power on, press and hold the “mode” button. The screens on the sides will open up for options.

Recording

To record and stop, use the red circle button on the top of the camera. You can use the front and rear screens to view what you will be recording.

To change the shooting mode, swipe down from the top on the large screen.

Press the red shutter button to record or take a still photo.

Swipe left or right on the touchscreen on the rear of the camera to navigate between recording mode (Video, Photo, Time Lapse).
Tap the “capture settings button” on the bottom of the display to change resolution and frame rate settings.

Playback

To access scenes/movies, Press the small square button with the triangle “Play” icon
