Using the COD Library

Who can use the COD Library?
Students, Staff, Faculty and Residents of District 502.
Current COD students, faculty, and staff can use this form to request a Library card.
District Residents can use this form to request a Library Card.
If you already have a COD ID card, please include the number on the bottom of your card (it will start with 2130) and you may use the ID as your Library card.
If you don’t yet have a COD ID, a barcode number will be emailed to you as soon as we process your request. A Library card will also be mailed to your home address. Please allow 24 hours for processing. All fields are required except the ID barcode if you don’t yet have one.
Can I check out books, videos, and CDs and take them home with me?
Yes -- most of our general collection items can be checked out for FREE!

- Mango LanguagesLearn English on Mango Languages through a variety of lessons and activities. Create an account with your COD email or continue as a guest. Available in browser or mobile app.
- OverDrive
OverDrive is a growing collection of popular eBooks, eAudio and magazines available for download. Users may checkout materials for up to three weeks and place holds on eBooks and eAudio currently in use. Available in browser and on the Libby app.
COD Students, Faculty, and Staff sign in with their school email. District Residents sign in with their library card number and pin.
