About the Movie

Argentina, 1985 is based on the true story of two lawyers who take on a lawsuit against Argentina's previous military dictatorship (junta). When experienced lawyers are unwilling to risk their reputation and safety to participate in the trial, prosecutor Julio César Strassera accepts help from professor Moreno Ocampo. Together they form a team of young lawyers and law students determined to fight for justice for the victims of the dictatorship, facing numerous dangers and challenges along the way.
