Media Lab: About the Lab

The Media Lab, located on the lower floor of the library, provides space, resources, and expertise to support students in creative uses of multimedia technology. Students can design, create, and share digital audio, video, and images.

We help COD students build digital literacy skills for class assignments and for personal growth through access to high-tech equipment and software. Students can walk in to work on projects or reserve space ahead of time.

Students may also check out equipment such as digital cameras, microphones, and drawing tablets to bring home to work on projects. Equipment needs to be reserved online.

Learn more about the Media Lab by watching the video below, visiting us in person, calling us at (630) 942-3085, or emailing

Use of Media Lab resources requires an active College of DuPage Library card. Some resources are limited to current COD students. For more information, read our full policies.
