O’Reilly for Higher Education (formerly known as Safari) includes technology and business content from more than 250 publishers - along with videos, case studies, expert-curated learning paths and self-assessments on exclusive O'Reilly-produced content from world-renowned tech innovators and corporate leaders. O'Reilly content is available to COD students, faculty, and staff on an unlimited user and content model.
Logging Into and Creating O'Reilly Accounts
You can find O'Reilly for Higher Education titles using the Library catalog or our ebooks gateway.
When you first access an O'Reilly title, you'll need to choose the "Institution not listed?" option, below the "Select your institution" dropdown menu.
From the next screen, choose one of the following options:
- If you do not already have an O'Reilly account, enter your COD email address ( dupage.edu or cod.edu ). After you do that, you'll be able to access O'Reilly titles. An email message will also be sent to your COD email address that will have instructions for confirming your account.
- If you already have an O'Reilly account, click "Already a user?" This will take you to a screen where you can login using your COD email and your O'Reilly password.
