Students, COD Faculty, Staff and District Residents are able to create accounts and use Mango Languages.

***District Residents will need to come to campus to initially create their user profile. ***

Yes. You can view a list here.

Most of the library's travel guide ebooks are hosted by EBSCO Ebooks, and are only available to current students, staff, and faculty.

Mango Languages is available to all users via web browser or app. (District Residents have limited access off-campus.)

The library also has many books and ebooks for language learners.

You can view the latest issues in Libby.

The database Statista has statistics on travel and tourism.

Yes.

In our catalog, these can be located by searching for your topic (country, state, etc.), then selecting Resource Type: Maps under Tweak Your Results on the right hand side of the page.

In addition, many of our travel guides contain maps of cities and countries.

 

You can find travel guides in the catalog by searching the destination name AND travel, e.g.,

Costa Rica AND travel

You can also search by publisher, e.g.,

"Lonely Planet"
