National Library Week

by Christine Kickels on April 3rd, 2024 in Library & Information Science | 0 Comments

Glass windows with hand painted images of a guitar, an insulate mug and books. The words Celebrate National Library Week April 8-12 are listed too.Mark your calendars! National Library Week is upon us, and we are throwing a week-long party to celebrate the power of libraries! From April 8 - 12th, we'll have something for everyone – whether you're a voracious reader, a techie, or just love library spaces.

Here's a sneak peek at what we have planned:

  • Workshops: Brush up on your research or tech skills.
  • Freebies and snacks: Because who doesn't love stickers or a salty treat?
  • Scavenger hunt: Give yourself a reason to explore all the areas of the library.

National Library Week is the perfect time to rediscover the library. We're more than just bookshelves – we're a study space, a creation zone, and a haven for book lovers of all ages.

Check our calendar of events for the schedule.
