The Hidden Cost of Keeping Files

If you are unsure where to begin organizing and saving files or downloads, ask about our media storage analysis program in the Library Media Lab. In the month of February, staff will provide handouts on storage methods, concerns, and solutions to consider for organizing and archiving personal, school, or work file storage.

The Media Lab has equipment available for in-Library checkout to aid in converting or moving media including a Canoscan scanner with document, film, and slide plates and LaCie portable hard drives.

If you're a student and wish to reserve equipment or workstations, visit the Media Lab website to make reservations. Faculty, staff, and district residents wishing to use the Media Lab can do so on a first-come, first-serve basis for workstations and make a reservation at time of service in the Lab.
