Showing Wednesday, February 26 at 1:30pm and 7:30pm at the Playhouse Theater in the McAnich Arts Center at COD.

Set in 19th Century Japan, O-Ei is the daughter of famed painter Hokusai. While O-Ei is shy and obedient in public, she creates provocative paintings in her father's art studio, which are then sold under her father's name. The town of Edo (present-day Tokyo) is filled with spirits and dragons, setting a colorful background for this coming of age story.
