LearningExpress for District Residents
On the ISL EBSCOhost resource list, there is an option for LearningExpress, it is a separate link and not part of the aggregate database collection. Please be sure to use the link in this guide to access LearningExpress and other databases so that you are properly authenticated as an Illinois State Library user.
Create a LearningExpress account by clicking on the Register button. Make sure the the Illinois State Library comes up next to the institution option.
Once registered you will be taken to your dashboard where you will be able to see your progress and history. Accounts are required since your learning is unique to you and you can track what you've studied easily.
LearningExpress has many learning options including career prep, test prep, internet skills, AWS, and more. After signing in you will be able to see all the courses that are available to you.
In the example below we have Nursing selected under the career prep tab. Here you can find nursing school placement and nursing certification eBooks, flashcards, and practice exams.
For nursing, LearningExpress has test questions from top publishers that resemble the questions that come up on certification exams. There are three exam options: simulated, practice, and learner.
