Energy
Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse, or heat-trapping, gas. The build up of CO2 in the atmosphere causes the planet to warm. CO2 is released into the atmosphere when we burn fossil fuels to control the temperature in our buildings and to run our vehicles. Shifting from fossil fuels to renewables for our energy needs is key to combatting climate change.
