by Laura Burt-Nicholas on 2022-09-20T07:41:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

The COD Library is excited to announce the return of the Student Research Symposium, scheduled for the evening of  Monday, May 8 in the Library.  On that evening, COD students will present a variety of research projects to an excited audience of other students, faculty, staff, and even community members.

COD students are welcome to submit research projects completed during Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 that are sponsored by a faculty member.  The Library welcomes research projects in a variety of formats and subjects.

Awards

We are excited to offer monetary awards to some of our student presenters. Our Grand Prize winner will be awarded $750!  Students who wish to compete for one of our Research Awards will also submit a 2-3 page essay about their research process. See the prompt here.  Awards are judged competitively based upon their project bibliography and research process essay.

Sounds Great! What Should I be Doing Now?

Still have questions?  Please reach out to Laura Burt-Nicholas with anything else you're wondering.  I'm happy to answer questions via email, in person meeting, or Zoom.

We're excited to see your work!
