COD Library Student Research Symposium: Submit Your Work

Student Research Symposium Logo

The COD Library Student Research Symposium will take place the evening of Monday, May 6, 2024, in the library. Students from across campus will have the opportunity to present their academic research work to an engaged and welcoming audience of faculty, staff, administration, other students, and even interested community members.

As always, we are excited to see the excellent work that students will submit to us.  For more details about the event, please see the FAQ linked below.

Complete Your Research Project

Interested in submitting your work to the Symposium?

Wonderful!  All student work undertaken during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters is eligible for presenting (and also for the research awards).  You'll want a faculty sponsor (ideally, the person that you completed your assignment for.)

On the night of the Symposium, all students presenting will have 15 minutes to present their work, which will be followed by a Q&A. Our goal is to see the Symposium mirror the academic diversity of the college, with student presentations from each department/division on campus. We welcome work presented in a variety of formats:

  • A traditional presentation with Google Slides
  • Reading a paper
  • A Poster presentation
  • A music or theater performance
  • Explanation and showcasing of a created object, whether art, engineering, design, fashion, etc.

Need Help with Your Project?
