Books

Format:

Author(s) or Editor(s) (last name, first initials). (Year of publication). Title of book (capitalize first word after subtitle if contains). Publisher.

Example:

Jauhar, S. (2018). Heart: A history. Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

 

Chapters from an Edited Book

Format:

Author(s) or editor(s) of article or chapter (last name, first initials). (Year of publication). Title of article or chapter (capitalize first word after subtitle if contains). In Name of editor(s) (Ed.), Title of book (Page numbers). Publisher.

Example:

Hanieh. A. (2015). States of exclusion: Migrant work in the gulf Arab states. In A. Choudry & M. Hlatshwayo (Eds.), Just work? Migrant workers' struggles today (pp. 41-60). University Press of Mississippi.

Journal Articles

Format:

Author(s) of article (last name, first initial). (Year of publication). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume number(Issue number), Page numbers. Include DOI if available.

Example:

Magazine Articles

Format:

Author(s) of article. (Full Date of publication listing year, month, day if available). Title of article. Title of Magazine, Volume number(Issue number), Page numbers.

Example:

Newspaper Articles

Format:

Example:

Articles from an Encyclopedia

Format:

Example:

Format:
