Library Resources for Faculty: COD Library Resources
Welcome to the COD Library!
This guide is intended as a jumping-off point to help faculty engage with the Library. Whether you have a specific need for Library space, collections, technology, or instruction, or if you'd like to know about the wide variety of ways the Library supports students and faculty, these pages can get you started.
The following information was compiled collaboratively by several Librarians, and the creation of all our webpages and services has been a team effort including everyone who works in the Library. This is indicative of the way we approach faculty and student support as well. We are collaborative, and we work with individual instructors and classes so that our spaces, collections, technology, and instruction are tailored to the needs of each specific situation.
We look forward to working with you!
Find your Librarian
The best way to get involved with the Library is to reach out to your subject Librarian liaison.
Research guides are created by Discipline Librarians to support almost every program here at COD.
These guides contain information on how to get started on research in a specific discipline, "best bet" databases for relevant types of information, and can even include pages specific to a class or assignment.
You can find an alphabetical list of them from the Library Homepage. Look to the right of the main search bar for a button labeled "Research Guides."
Questions, comments, or suggestions for your subject's research guide? Reach out to the Liaison, whose contact information should be on each guide's homepage!
Faculty and Staff Services
You can find information about our faculty and staff services any time from the Library's Homepage.
Scroll down below the news and announcements until you find a link for "Faculty and Staff."
