How do I get a COD District Resident Library Card?

District residents have access to books in print and electronically from the COD Library. Check these links to discover which ebooks District Residents can access from COD campuses and also remotely.
District residents who are 18 years of age or older may request a Library card online. Library barcodes are necessary to sign in to your Library account and to checkout items.
Search the Library Catalog to find books and videos available at the COD Library.
When a COD copy is not available, District Resident card holders can request a book through the Library's interlibrary loan service by completing and submitting an ILL Book Request Form.
OverDrive is a growing collection of popular (fiction and non-fiction) e-books and e-audio available for download to your device or your computer.
The COD Library makes electronic collections available to District Residents to the extent that resource limitations and legal restrictions allow.
District Residents can access several databases remotely and nearly 150 others in the Library or while on campus.
District Residents also have access to Illinois State Library Databases.
District Residents with an active Library card are welcome to use the study rooms on a walk-up basis weekdays after 6pm, all day Friday and on weekends, any day during the Summer semester, or during semester breaks.
