Research Guides provide information and links to the most useful resources on a topic, subject, or academic discipline. Use research guides to find print and electronic reference sources, articles, journals, databases, books, newspapers, streaming videos, web sites (and so much more) related to your subject area, program or class project. The guides help you to find, evaluate and cite resources. In a world of abundant information resources, COD's discipline librarians created our research guides to save you time and energy!

Flipster is a digital magazine platform featuring popular and educational titles on a variety of subjects and interests. Printing and access to an assortment of back issues is possible. Available on desktop and mobile.

The Kanopy video collection covers a variety of subjects across many disciplines. Kanopy's strongest offerings include global and historical feature films, indie titles, and documentaries. Title availability is split between "in collection" and "request" tabs. Users needing titles for assignments can request access via the request button. LinkedIn Learning is a large, high-quality collection of online video classes and tutorials created by accomplished professional and industry experts covering a broad range of technology, business, and creativity topics. LIL is a great resource for developing skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, educational technology, multimedia design, coding, business, and a wide range of other topics.

OverDrive is a growing collection of popular eBooks, eAudio and magazines available for download. Users may checkout materials for up to three weeks and place holds on eBooks and eAudio currently in use. Available in browser and on the Libby app.
COD Students, Faculty, and Staff sign in with their school email. District Residents sign in with their library card number and pin.
