
The COD Library Student Research Symposium will take place beginning at 4pm Monday, May 11, 2026 in the library. Students from across campus will have the opportunity to present their academic research work to an engaged and welcoming audience of faculty, staff, administration, other students, and even interested community members.

Interested in submitting your work to the Symposium?
Wonderful! All student work undertaken during the Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters is eligible. You'll need to list the name of a faculty sponsor (ideally, the person that you completed your assignment for.)

Want help fine-tuning your research project, finding scholarly articles or data about your topic, evaluating the information you found for accuracy and/or bias, or thinking through the project in general? You can come to the reference desk in the Library, chat with us, or even schedule an appointment with the COD Librarians in order to answer these or any other questions.

Interested in Presenting at the May 2026 Symposium?
Fall 2025 students: you are welcome to fill out our Intent to Present form through Monday, February 2, 2026. The form asks for your name, your email, and the name of your faculty sponsor, and allows us to contact you to see if you have any questions about the symposium.
All presenters are welcome to fill out the Student Research Symposium Submission form at the link below when they are ready to reserve their slot at the Symposium. You'll want to have the following handy for the form:
