Global Reach, Local Touch @ College of DuPage

Hosting the NLM exhibit gives the College of DuPage Library a chance to showcase the many extraordinary ways our Library, the Institution, faculty, students, staff, and our community assist one another, learn and grow together, and support public health locally, nationally, and globally. 

We invite everyone, free of charge, to visit the exhibit, located on the COD Library's Upper Floor.

  • Explore a print book display related to the exhibit
  • View evidence-based posters created by COD Nursing and Dental Hygiene students displayed throughout our spaces
  • Take part in a variety of health-related programing events offered in person and online

Celebrate the exhibit and our College community with opening remarks, enjoy light refreshments, peruse the exhibit's print book display, view evidence-based nursing and dental hygiene posters, learn more about COD's Library and Information Technology, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Human Services programs!

Faculty and student participants will discuss their experiences, lessons-learned, and key take-aways from the COD HLTHS 1800 Global Healthcare Initiatives: Dominican Republic field studies course. Join the hybrid session to hear how this medical mission changed the lives of the people receiving care as well as the participant care givers!
