District Resident Remote Access

The above URL will first check for IP, so users accessing from within the library network will have seamless access. Remote users will be prompted to login with the following credentials.

Logging In From Home
To access the ISL databases from home you must log in using the provided credentials. All Illinois residents have access to ISL resources but they require authentication via a link made specifically for residents.
After signing in you will see a long list of available databases that the ISL provides. Select the databases or collections that you are interested in and start researching. LearningExpress does require you to create a separate login since it tracks your progress and learning.
By selecting the aggregate database collection you can search 48 databases at once. You can also select the databases you wish to search and limit results to full-text.
By clicking "choose databases" above the search box you can see all of the databases that are part of the aggregate collection. You can search all of them or select one or several to search at one time.
