The Rode Wireless Go microphone system has a built-in omnidirectional mic so you can use it as a clip-on lav mic or you can use it as a standard wireless transmitter with 1/8" mic input for a lavalier mic, like the ones included with our Smartphone Video kit. The receiver is compact and easily clips to your camera's shoe mount, your camera strap, or your clothing.
This is not a stand alone recording device. Mic requires being plugged into a camera or recording device to function. Standard 1/8" audio cable connection is included. Includes 2 USB-C cables for charging.
Quick Setup:
To power on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. Press and hold for 3 seconds to power off.
If linking is required, press an hold the pairing button located on the bottom of either unit for 3 seconds.
Use the ‘dB’ button to raise or lower the volume output level of the recording device.
Mount the TX unit (the transmitter) to the shoe mount located on the top of the M50 camera. Attach the included 3.5mm cable from to the TX and the audio input jack on the camera.
Mount the RX (receiver) to the subject who will be talking on camera.
To charge either unit, use the included USB-C cable until fully charged, as indicated on the LCD display.
